All students approach their practice in a different way. We often relate to a teacher because they approach their own practice in a way that resonates with us. As the buddhist proverb says "when the student is ready the teacher appears."

Andie Rishoi

Arielle Bendory

Arielle is a Brooklyn based Pilates teacher and dancer, currently in two New York based Companies. Arielle discovered Pilates as a young dancer, finding it to be a helpful tool for increasing body awareness and strength. After her initial 14 years of experience with Pilates, she sought to learn more, finishing her comprehensive Pilates certification through Erika Bloom's 500+hr teacher training in 2013. Studying closely with Erika and taking workshops with many guest teachers, she learned various therapeutic protocols for pre/postnatal, scoliosis, herniations, and more, continuing her studies of movement therapies. Arielle believes that Pilates can be used as a form of therapy for physical, mental, and emotional well being. She aims to create a comfortable and supportive environment, working closely with her students to reach their desired goals.

Cassandra Motta

Cassandra obtained her BFA in Dance from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and upon graduating she moved to NYC to dance and form her own dance company. Here in New York she discovered her love of yoga and finds it to be an essential tool for survival in the world today. She completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Celebrating the Call along with a 20-hour Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra training through ISHTA Yoga. Cassandra especially enjoys teaching people of all ages how to slow down, breathe, and connect to the self.

Christina Mattus

Christina was first exposed to yoga when she was 8 years old and knew that it was something that she would continue to do whenever she grew up. Later, after practicing on and off over the years primarily for exercise, Christina embraced a fuller and more regular practice upon moving back to New York in 2006 when she experienced the healing aspects of yoga and its tremendous impact on her life. She then found the steadiness and discipline of Ashtanga Yoga initially from John Schneider, to whom she is very grateful, and later benefitted from the nurturing grace and benevolence of Erica Fae. In 2010 Christina spent some time studying with Yogis from all over the world in various places in India, and later that year in New York completed the Savitri Yoga Shal teacher training in the Hatha Yoga tradition with Yogi Charu. With gratitude to all of the teachers who have led her to her present path, Christina currently finds freedom in the flow of Vinyasa inspired by principles of the Hatha and Ashtanga traditions. Continually renewed by the depth and interconnectedness of yoga and all that there is to discover, Christina hopes to share this journey with you.

Erika Mehiel

Erika believes that Yoga is a process of self-discovery and transformation that is totally unique and personal to each one of us, and loves helping others develop their own relationship with Yoga, both on and off the mat. She draws on the practices of Ayurveda, TCM and Aromatherapy, as well as the latest research in neuroscience, coupled with a playful curiosity, to create classes designed to inspire, inform, and empower. Erika began her practice in 2001, and earned her Yoga Teaching Certification at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica under Brahmananda Don and Amba Stapleton. Erika has completed advanced trainings in Self Awakening Yoga Therapeutics, Ayurvedic, Restorative & Trauma Sensitive Yoga. She is an herbalist, an Integrative Wellness Coach and member of the National Association of Drugless Practitioners, recently undertaking the study of Shamanic Reiki.

Gina Pulisciano

Gina began her yoga practice over 10 years ago initially seeking physical relief as her work as an esthetician was strenuous on her body. The mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits that unfolded sealed her commitment to her practice. After two life transforming trips to India she decided to delve further into the world of yoga by obtaining her teaching certification in 2011. Gina believes that yoga has made her a better listener and a more positive and confident human being. Her experience has proven to her that yoga is truly its definition: the union of mind and body. Gina's background as a holistic esthetician informs her approach to teaching yoga: she is passionate about helping people and she believes that mind/body wellness is essential and individualized. Gina is a certified Reiki practitioner and also studies Ayurveda and aromatherapy.

Jan Orlando Go

Jan takes a personal and individualized approach to teaching yoga, influenced by his own experience as a practitioner of Vinyasa and Ashtanga Yoga. He is a RYT-500, ERYT-200, receiving both from Three Sisters Yoga. In addition he has 120 Hours of Advanced Anatomy Training, and 85 hours of pre/post natal training and restorative training. The basis of his teaching philosophy is that yoga can benefit all body types: if you can breathe, you can benefit from yoga. In class with Jan you will experience a breath and alignment based exploration of familiar asana while exploring challenging and often untapped asana. Always committed to being intuitive, compassionate, and free from judgement, the cornerstone of Jan's practice is a joyful exploration of challenging and new asana with modifications offered for all.   

Kelly Voegelin

Jarrod Byrne Mayer

Jarrod is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor and Brooklyn based musician, writer, and artist. All of his work and practice is a reflection of his inner vision and experience through Kundalini yoga and survival arts. Jarrod has studied with naturalist and master survivalist Tom Brown Jr. in the pine barrens of southern New Jersey and believes that a connection with the earth and nature is essential to expanding within the infinite. Jarrod incorporates this awareness into his classes with the intention to help students access the expansiveness that is both within and beyond their immediate surroundings. Through chanting mantras, meditation, pranayama, and kriya Jarrod shares the laughter and tears that may accompany the practice of Kundalini yoga.

Lynn Lisella

Lynn has completed restorative, prenatal and postnatal yoga teacher training through her studies with Jillian Pransky and Carrie Parker at YogaWorks and Deb Flashenberg at the Prenatal Yoga Center. Movement and Yoga have been central elements of her life since a young age and following her move to NYC she completed the full YogaWorks teacher training and went on to deepen her understanding of restorative and prenatal yoga. Lynn challenges her students to be present in each movement and each breath of their practice. Through this physical practice balancing precision and grace, she hopes to instill clarity and transformation within each of her students.

Margherita Tisato

Margherita Tisato

Margherita's yoga practice spans over more than a decade and includes Hatha, Vinyasa and Kundalini traditions. She received her 200 hr certification in Vinyasa yoga from Lea Kramer at Prana Mandir, and her 300 hr certification in yoga and Ayurveda from Summer Quashie and Leigh Evans of Yoga Sukhavati. Further training includes yoga for incarcerated youth with the Lineage Project and trauma sensitive yoga/yoga for PTSD with Bessel A. van der Kolk M.D. founder of the Trauma Center and Hatti Figge, RYT, LCSW. Margherita believes in a challenging practice to awaken the body, find and accept our limits, and see the potential that lies beyond them. In her classes you can expect a combination of movement, breath, spiritual philosophy, stillness, and passion, to encourage each individual to find their own potential. Aside from yoga Margherita studies, performs and teaches Butoh and modern dance around NYC and beyond. She is forever indebted to all her Teachers, who showed her how to engage with mystery and awe.

Saskia Thode

Saskia Thode

Saskia was introduced to yoga in 2003, practicing on and off initially. After moving from the German countryside to New York City in 2006 yoga became an essential and substantial practice helping her to find stillness, peace, and clarity in this big city. She completed the first Sarva Yoga Academy teacher training at Go Yoga with teachers Lilia Mead, Michael Hewett and Matthew Lombardo. Saskia has studied various lineages of yoga, the wisdom of Tibetan Buddhism, Indian Yoga, and the Fourth Way. She was also certified as a Therapeutic Yoga Practitioner by Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peal at Integral Yoga and is a certified Reiki Practitioner of the 2nd degree. For Saskia yoga is not a physical practice but rather a combination of mind, body and spirit; and the healing powers of the unity of these elements. Saskia teaches both Therapeutic & Restorative Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, in which she aims to combine the inner and outer methods of healing simultaneously in motion. 
Stephanie Conway

Taylor Jeanne

Taylor began her yogic journey as a means of expression, creative movement and ever-evolving discovery. She completed her 200-hour Teacher Training at Abhaya Yoga in Brooklyn under the guidance of Tara Glazier and is also a certified instructor of Chair Yoga and Radiant Child Yoga. Taylor aspires to cultivate a space where students feel empowered to move in their own unique way and hopes to inspire others to find a sense of lightness and playfulness in their practice. Through mindful movement, meditation, breath work, and a continuous practice of self-love, Taylor encourages her students to follow the guidance of their own inner teacher. 

Stephanie Conway

Vida Dominguez

A native New Yorker and classically trained ballerina, Vida is deeply aware of the joyous pairing of movement and music. She studied ballet at the prestigious School of American Ballet and was a dance major at the Fiorello Laguardia High School of Music, Art and Performing Arts.  Eventually, she discovered yoga and devoted her life to that therapeutic and challenging practice. Yoga became an invaluable tool to her because it opened an awareness of inner peace and spiritual balance amid the turmoil of everyday life. Vida attained her 200 Hour Yoga Certification at Yoga Vida. Her highest intention is to teach the transformative and ancient practice of yoga to bring liberation to others those willing to embark on the journey of self-discovery and excellent health.
